Privacy Notice

At Cargonaut (hereinafter, "Cargonaut," "we," "us"), we value and protect your personal data. This Privacy Notice is issued in compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations, and the Privacy Notice Guidelines currently in force in Mexico.
1. Data controller
The party responsible for processing your personal data is Cargonaut. For any matter relating to your personal data or this notice, you can reach us at info@cargonaut.cloud.
2. Personal data we collect
When you sign up on our site (to request a demo or join the waitlist), we collect only the data you provide to us:
- Contact name.
- Your company's name.
- Email address.
- WhatsApp or phone number.
- Provider code (optional) and any information you choose to include in your request.
We do not collect sensitive personal data or financial data through this site.
3. Purposes of processing
Primary purposes (necessary to handle your request):
- Contacting you to schedule a demo or to manage your spot on the waitlist / Founder Program.
- Answering your questions and following up by email or WhatsApp.
- Creating and managing your account or allocation on the platform, where applicable.
Secondary purposes (you may object to these at any time):
- Sending you information about the launch, product news, and commercial communications.
If you do not want your data used for the secondary purposes, you can let us know by writing to info@cargonaut.cloud. Your refusal will not be grounds for denying you the services you request.
4. Data transfers
We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be processed by providers that supply technology services to us (hosting, workflow automation, email delivery, and web analytics) acting as processors on Cargonaut's behalf and under confidentiality obligations. These transfers are limited to what is necessary to fulfill the purposes described and do not require your consent under Article 37 of the LFPDPPP.
5. ARCO rights
You have the right to Access, Rectify, and Cancel your personal data and to Object to its processing, as well as to revoke any consent you have granted us. To exercise any of these rights, send your request to info@cargonaut.cloud indicating your name, the data on which you wish to exercise the right, and a clear description of your request. We will respond within the time frames set out in the LFPDPPP.
6. Means to limit use or disclosure
You can request to opt out of our communications at any time by replying to any email we send you or by writing to info@cargonaut.cloud.
7. Cookies and storage technologies
This site uses your browser's local storage solely to remember your language preference (Spanish or English). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies to profile you.
8. Web analytics
To understand on an aggregate and anonymous basis how many people visit the site and from which sources and countries they arrive, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store identifiers on your device, and does not collect personal data or build individual profiles; the metrics are anonymous and aggregated. For this reason, its use does not require your consent through a cookie banner. You can review its policy at plausible.io/data-policy.
9. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use, access, or processing.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice. Any changes will be posted on this same page, with the corresponding last-updated date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
